Alvin Owusu (00:00.918)
And we're back, literally we are back. Welcome to another episode of the best of three podcast. I am Alvin still, and that is still Tory. And we are, we're still rolling here with our counting down the top 25 WTA players of the last 25 years. You know, just for a quick recap, if you did not listen to our previous episode, go back and listen to our previous episode. We covered 25 through 21.

Torrey Hawkins (00:11.584)
Yeah.

Alvin Owusu (00:27.95)
on both of our lists. I'll start with Tori. Tori had Mary Pierce at number 25, because he broke the time barrier of the year 2000. Svetlana Kuznetsova at number 24. Amelie Merezmo at number 23. Lee Nott number 22. And Simona Halep at number 21. And I had Dnira Safina at 25. Anna Ivanovich at 24. Petra Kvitova at 23.

Torrey Hawkins (00:38.049)
You're welcome.

Alvin Owusu (00:54.958)
CocoaGolf at 22 and LiNa at 21. But now that we're back to you, how you feeling?

Torrey Hawkins (01:01.396)
Alvin, I'm good, I'm good. I wanna defend my, I'm not even gonna speak to it, Alvin. I'm not even gonna speak to it, that's right, I did it. And I'm gonna stand by it. I feel like somebody's gotta represent the old school and the 90s was a great time and they were still relevant and playing, thank you very much, winning in the 2000s. So, you know, I'm not gonna.

Alvin Owusu (01:10.882)
Okay.

Alvin Owusu (01:24.718)
You

Torrey Hawkins (01:30.088)
I'm not gonna take your little chatting. I'm not gonna take it personal. I'm just gonna keep it moving. I'm like, hey, you know what I mean? I appreciate, hey, holla back.

Alvin Owusu (01:34.944)
Okay. Okay. I mean...

Maybe, the rules don't apply to everybody obviously, obviously all for-

Torrey Hawkins (01:42.112)
This is not NOM, there are rules. I hear you.

Alvin Owusu (01:47.022)
For our audience, the loose rules were players between 2000 and 2025, the last 25 years, and the players who are currently playing, we just assume that they retire today, right? They are done. And the players that were playing in the late 90s, we tried to consider their peak. Was it in the 90s, was it in the 2000s? But you know, it's our bakery, we can fudge where we want to.

Torrey Hawkins (01:50.747)
You

Torrey Hawkins (02:13.792)
I think that's where we may agree to disagree. I'm gonna push back on that one and I'm gonna stand still, stand by Mary Pierce. She darn sure should have been higher, to be honest. And I think we should carve out some space in there for some of the greats. Shout out to our watch, the Sanchez Macario. We're not going back that far. Just saying, just saying. All right, who we got, Alvin? Number 20.

Alvin Owusu (02:16.143)
Yeah, it's fine. It's

You

Alvin Owusu (02:36.021)
Geez, okay, we're not go that far. We can't go that far. We can't go back that far All right, we're gonna we're gonna start number 20 I'm gonna I let you go first last time so I'm gonna go first this time and I'm only gonna go first because we've already talked about this one Svetlana Kuznetsova two time Grand Slam champion career high number two two time slam finalist Also to pick up two doubles wins I think I talked about her a little bit in the previous episode when we when you when you had her at 24

Torrey Hawkins (02:44.786)
You kick it

Torrey Hawkins (03:00.274)
Yep.

Alvin Owusu (03:03.957)
I feel like this is a good spot for her. did tussle back and forth between her and Li Na because they had very, very similar overall body of work. I gave her the slight nod simply because of the two double titles that I choose to consider that to be important. Yeah, that's...

Torrey Hawkins (03:18.655)
Right. I literally, I literally was thinking about the same thing as to why I put her too low. You asked me at the end, who would I have changed? And she was the one I would have put her a bit higher if I had to do anything. And I will see you one and raise you one, not raise you, I'll see you one. My 20 is Petra Kovineva. So that was where I was right there. I felt like she was a little bit, she was in the mix.

the top for game a little longer. My only thought with, with, with Svetlana was that she was very good at the US Open, not as, and maybe a little shorter time for a little short double span, a little bit longer timeframe. And I felt like Petra's reign, if you will, was a bit longer and, and a little bit, and she had, posted some great wins on a little bit longer with time for not crazy long, but just long enough to me to get out of that top.

out of that 21, which is actually the 20 for me, but you can't, we're splitting hairs here. You know what I mean? These players were both phenomenal tennis players. so, to even be amongst the game's greats is a huge compliment of itself. So we've spoke on both of them already, can't say enough about their body of work. So anybody that comes ahead or slightly behind are in the conversation of

Alvin Owusu (04:32.459)
Yeah, and one of

Torrey Hawkins (04:43.966)
of all time greatness. We're not just talking like all time greatness. That's not just rare air. That's outer space. There's no air.

Alvin Owusu (04:46.219)
Yeah, yeah, yeah.

Alvin Owusu (04:55.053)
Yeah, and to Svetlana's credit, right, I would consider the bulk of her work to be done between 2004, her US Open title in 2004, and then her French Open title in 2009. But to your point, she was still making quarterfinals of Grand Slams all the way up until this, recently it's 2017. So now we're talking about a window of, you know.

Torrey Hawkins (05:11.601)
Yeah.

Alvin Owusu (05:22.285)
quarterfinal, you know, last three rounds in a Grand Slam for 12 years. Like that's, or over 10 years. That's impressive. I know, that's 12 years. I can count, I can count. Yeah, that's 12 years.

Torrey Hawkins (05:30.621)
100%. Yeah, 100%. As I said, she was the one that if I would have moved anybody up high, it would have been Svetlana.

Alvin Owusu (05:39.469)
Yeah, first quarterfinal of our career, 2003, last quarterfinal of our career in a Grand Slam, 2017. Like that's...

Torrey Hawkins (05:45.156)
I was at the 2004 when she won the Dawn thing in US Open. I remember the match, I remember watching the practice extra a couple times. I mean, just a sweetheart. mean, just, and God, she was good. I mean, just, and a lot of hard work out there. Just a lot of hard work. Just a phenomenal hand she had. her core vision and just her, I remember watching her stroke. She hit a little more like a guy. I she just.

Alvin Owusu (06:00.333)
A lot of hard work. Yep.

Torrey Hawkins (06:12.093)
absolutely ripped the ball and kind of had that watch her own follow through kind of on the finish. When you see players that smooth off the ground and they know you can't handle it that far, that fast, that they can take that extra second to kind of watch and reload, it was a wonderful thing to see. I mean, it had phenomenal touch around the net. anyway, I'm going in memory lane. Every time I mention it, I start thinking back to

practices and plays I saw her do. So she was a fun one.

Alvin Owusu (06:44.407)
I mean, let's keep that rolling though with my number 19, when we're talking about clean strokes and we're talking about hands around the net. Number 19, I've got Vibora Krachikova.

Torrey Hawkins (06:48.775)
Mmm.

Torrey Hawkins (06:55.663)
wow, you're gonna go and put Babour in there. See, my only problem with these types, and I hear you, you mentioned this earlier, you're taking it as if they retired today. And to me, for my subject objectivity clause, I did not include anybody who'd only won one, but there was a caveat of everyone who's playing currently who could win another.

Alvin Owusu (06:58.06)
I'm-

Alvin Owusu (07:14.049)
Mm-hmm

Torrey Hawkins (07:25.052)
I wanted to make sure that I left them off but in in in

Alvin Owusu (07:28.525)
But she's got two, she's got two, she's got two. Okay.

Torrey Hawkins (07:32.205)
Alvin, Alvin, I have her on my list. I just don't have her right here. Let me say this. I'm gonna tell you who my number 20, my number 19 is, Mr. They got you. So let's put this in here. Vika Azarenka. So let me just put that out there so we understand. I'm not putting Bavora in any ways in a bad spot. I think she's not done yet.

Alvin Owusu (07:43.597)
Hold on, hold on, before we leave...

Torrey Hawkins (08:00.91)
and I think she could still do some more damage which is why have her a bit higher.

Alvin Owusu (08:04.588)
Okay, so with, I call her Babs, me and some of my friends, we call her Babs. So I'm gonna call her Babs here. I think we have to take into consideration all of it, right? So she had a full on career as a doubles player with Katarina Sinjakova before deciding to, under the tutelage of Yana Navatna, rest in peace, to really focus in on her singles and make a go of it. So she was a perennial qualities.

player up until 2019 gets serious about her singles game and then 2021 wins French Open. But up to that point in time, she had also won two Grand Slam doubles titles. And not to harp on her doubles, but she's won the career Grand Slam with Sinyaka, I believe, in all of them. In that same French Open, she won both singles and doubles. That's tough in the modern times. And then 2022, won three of four.

Torrey Hawkins (08:46.019)
and up. Sure.

Torrey Hawkins (08:51.067)
Sure.

Torrey Hawkins (08:57.077)
end of, yep, yep, remember that.

Alvin Owusu (09:03.436)
Grand Slams on the double side. And then also most recently won Wimbledon last year, 2024. So I think the thing with Baborah is always, it's always health at this point. Like is she fit? And if she's fit, if she's playing, as we saw in this year's, this year's US Open that recently finished some time ago, when she's there, she's tough. She's a tough, tough, tough out. And she made life hell for a lot of players in this year's US Open and we just.

Torrey Hawkins (09:10.043)
Yep. Yep.

Torrey Hawkins (09:31.045)
And the viral specifically, know, and so.

Alvin Owusu (09:33.888)
Yeah, yeah, and so we just wish, well, we wish health for her. But yeah, I've got her at, where did I put her? 19, and you had Victoria Azarenka at 19. Okay, let's talk Vicky, let's talk Victoria.

Torrey Hawkins (09:41.243)
19.

Torrey Hawkins (09:49.371)
Vicki was number one album between the years of 2012 and 2013, but her career spanned a lot longer than that. She's been as relevant as recent as this past year. So it just shows you post having a little one. Just shows you how what her longevity could be like. I feel like...

She should even be higher on my list, but unfortunately in my very OCD type, she did win two, right? And so I've got to kind of include her in the mix in this tier, but I also felt like there was nobody that pushed Serena like Vika. There was no one that pushed Sharapova like Vika. There was no one that pushed the top. And I always felt like she always had a chance to, no one outstruck.

Alvin Owusu (10:17.705)
Yeah.

Alvin Owusu (10:29.708)
Mmm.

Torrey Hawkins (10:39.245)
out moved, out countered, out hit the top like she did. And the people she came up against ended up winning the Dorn tournament if they went through her, if she didn't win it herself. And I always felt like Vika was a, just a pleasure to watch. And she was always, she is the Morat Safin of the women's side that you always felt like she could have done more, but no one, but no one wanted to play her.

Alvin Owusu (11:01.248)
Well done.

Torrey Hawkins (11:09.153)
on her best day because they knew what she was capable of.

Alvin Owusu (11:12.722)
Yeah, you look at her, you look at her kind of her peak between your true peak was probably 2009 to 2013, right? Picked up two Australian Open victories there, three semi-finals, two US Open finalist appearances, and then kind of had some absences, had a child, you know, made, but then also as recently as 2023, made a semi-final run at the Australian Open. So when we're talking about like skill adult, skill adult doesn't wear out.

It doesn't wear out at all. That's a 15 year, yeah, 15 year, 16 year run. Yeah, that's tough. I've got Vicki a little higher than that, so we can speak on that when we get there. But a lot of respect for Victoria Azarenka. I have a very vivid memory of her. was at the Miami Open, I can't remember if this was 2019 or 2021, one of those two events, but I'm over the back practice courts and there's these.

Torrey Hawkins (11:41.998)
No. Right.

Yeah, 16. Yeah, yeah.

Alvin Owusu (12:11.936)
Like it's like three, three or four courts and then a walkway and then the rest of the like six, seven practice courts and then walking in the walkway and you're just right on the side of the two courts, one to your left, one to your right. And Victoria is warming up with Shelby Rogers and they walk onto the court and then they gonna get their stuff out and chitchat a little bit and then start warming up short.

Torrey Hawkins (12:28.963)
Mm-hmm.

Alvin Owusu (12:35.658)
I'm talking first ball warming up short. I have never seen feet move that fast in my life. And I was like, I'm right next to her. And I'm like, my God, this is how old are you young lady? Yeah. And she's just, mean, she's a, she's carrying the tour from a standpoint of like, she's the adult in the room. then I said, carrying it with her tennis right now, but, it's just nice to have an elder States woman who has been there, done that, continues to push players.

Torrey Hawkins (12:41.004)
You

Torrey Hawkins (12:47.705)
Yeah.

Torrey Hawkins (13:04.845)
Right? And a mom. Yeah.

Alvin Owusu (13:06.184)
Anima in the, in in the twilight of her career. yeah. lots of, lots of love for, for one Victoria Azarenka. All right. Moving on number 18 on my list, the seldom forgotten. Garbina Mugarruta.

Torrey Hawkins (13:17.657)
Torrey Hawkins (13:21.261)
Mugen Rutha. See, once again, once again, we are sharing some similar situations here. had, Garbine is a little bit, she's in my mix, not in this exact tier. I felt like, to your point, I felt like Garbine was a little bit, she was a little bit stronger just because I felt like her.

Alvin Owusu (13:40.564)
Okay, okay.

Torrey Hawkins (13:51.139)
Her dominance, I always give a little bit of love to the players that like Vika, that did some damage on, with some of the best, by taking down some of the best players in their prime. And I think she did that. I know you can speak to her, some of her stats better than I can, but I always, always liked Garbine and, or Mina, however I say her name, but Muruza was always a pleasure to watch. And I felt like, I felt like she could have won

one or two more had injuries and whatnot not, you know, not been what they were toward the end of her because she was just getting started.

Alvin Owusu (14:28.203)
She was just getting started. she, she finals, she final Australian Open in 2020. And then that was more or less the, like that's when the world shut down right after that. And then that's kind of the end of the, that's kind of the end of the ride for Garbina made a, made a decent run at it. I'll show you it up in the following year, but yeah, just kind of, that was the tail end for her. And I, I'll say the bulk of her, the bulk of her work was done kind of in the 2015, 2018 space, final Wimbledon in 2015, where she lost to Serena.

and then came back the next year French Open and beat Serena. Now when you start, we're getting to this air of players where you're talking about beating Serena Williams in a final. That's, Ann made it to, I think she did make it to world number one. Serena did and held that spot for just four weeks, but she did. That is different than, let's say, stage beating Serena.

like Bianca Andrescu, right? This is different. This is real deal. We're talking prime, one of Serena's primes. And that's, you can't, I think that's it right there. Like that's the thing. And then the following year, 2017, backs it up and beats Venus at Wimbledon in the finals. So that's taken out some of the best that ever do it.

under the most pressure-filled situations. Yeah, I ride hard for Garbina. Again, I'm gonna say taken from her too soon, because she's not dead. yeah, 2020 took away a good chunk of her career, and I think she just found it more valuable to be living her life as not a tennis player after that, more or less.

Torrey Hawkins (16:05.431)
But I'm not sure man.

Torrey Hawkins (16:12.087)
It did.

Torrey Hawkins (16:18.68)
I completely agree. she was, and it sunset a lot of careers in the novel. Those that were contemplating what they were going to do and others, including Petra, including Venus, who decided to maybe, I didn't finish on the terms I wanted to, because of COVID and whatever else, that the natural progression of tour didn't happen due to COVID. Heck, the Fritz didn't even happen that year, right? So there's a whole nother talk show right there. But no, I have her and I have her not.

Not so far in future. So perhaps we'll get there.

Alvin Owusu (16:50.567)
Okay. All right, who you got at number 18?

Torrey Hawkins (16:54.808)
This was a tough one for me, Alvin. I wrestled with this one, but this young lady spent a grand total of 71 weeks at number one. And even though she didn't win, but one slam, when you have 71 weeks at number one, it's hard to deny this person's dominance. Caroline Wozniacki, Alvin. I had to put in a mix. If there was one person that I was going to include in the one grand slam, you know,

Alvin Owusu (17:03.047)
huh?

Alvin Owusu (17:06.809)
huh.

Alvin Owusu (17:14.891)
Carolyn was necky.

Torrey Hawkins (17:24.716)
a group, it was gonna be Caroline Wozniacki who was a perennial number one during that time, regardless of the slam wins. And that was always the rub on her and then she won one. And I felt like it was something that, you know, again, like Avika, like all the, she was absolute death to the players that were at the top at that time. And when you look at, and I'll just speak one small part about Serena,

It makes you appreciate Serena all the more when she had to play players like the Vicas, players like the Lindsies, players in the early part of her career, middle part of her career, the Vicas, later part of her career, the Caroline Wozniakis. You just realize these weren't given. Those slams weren't given. They were hard earned. the girl, 71 weeks, the number one? 71? Come on. Let's...

Alvin Owusu (18:18.283)
71. Yep. Yep.

Torrey Hawkins (18:21.311)
Let's let that just marinate right there and let that speak for itself.

Alvin Owusu (18:25.035)
I'll back you up because I had Caroline just a little bit ahead here. And since my, you the next few players, we've talked about them some. I have Emily Maresmo here at number 17. But I wanna talk about, you know, Caroline a little bit more. that, I think that speaks volumes about how, not necessarily just how good she was to continue to get to world number one with only.

and not win a slam at that time, then also how competitive the top of the women's game was at that particular moment in time. Caroline, yeah, she's almost like Dirk Nowitzki, right? She finally gets one and that's the thing that puts the cherry on top. She was always good, she was always great.

Torrey Hawkins (19:12.342)
But she was always good.

Torrey Hawkins (19:16.663)
One would argue, how is she number one that long and didn't win a slam? Which means she won everything else. You know what I mean? And so you can't, mean, let's, Alvin, this past year, Irina Sabalinka did not win a slam until the US Open and was number one all year long and finaled everything else when others did not do anything but win that slam. And there's no shame on Madison and Coco and Ego and their great years they've had.

Alvin Owusu (19:24.051)
Yeah. Yeah.

Alvin Owusu (19:32.255)
But she was winning everything else.

Torrey Hawkins (19:46.132)
So my point is but to retain that number one and not win a slam is in itself a feat we didn't consider. I know I didn't at the time, but I look back on it. I'm like, well, wait a second. How did she? Well, that's why. What everything else?

Alvin Owusu (20:01.387)
Well, and I think you also have to consider, right, because she wins that slam in 2018, right? 2018. She first became number one in the world in 2010, right? 2010, eight years before winning a grand slam. So she had a runner of about 18 weeks at number one from 2010 to 2011, and then got back there again a little bit, like a few times after that, like.

did another almost 50 weeks later. I think 2010, 2011, 2012 is kind of the peak. Caroline Wozniacki, where she kind of in that space put together like 67 weeks at number one. That's the bulk of her work right there. And then you start to see the players like Azarenka and Sharapova and Serena and Kerber and Plitschkova and Mugarruthu and Halep all pop in there. then even seven years, eight years later,

Torrey Hawkins (20:51.497)
Nope.

Alvin Owusu (20:56.671)
She's able to get to number one again after winning the US Open, pardon me, the Australian Open that year, to kind of put the chair on top of her career, get back to number one again. So yeah, it's a test of her longevity, it's a testament to her greatness, I think, to be able to be at the top of the game when we consider a player's peak to be sometimes three years, like she was able to stay on top of the game for a better part of a decade. So I think that's the...

Torrey Hawkins (21:19.219)
Yeah. Eight to nine. Yeah.

Alvin Owusu (21:25.215)
That's kind of the value there. Like I said, have at number 17, I have Amelie Moresmo, TH, who do you have at 17? Garbina, okay, all right.

Torrey Hawkins (21:33.397)
Garbi. Garbi was my 17. That's what I was saying. She was right there, right ahead of it. She was just another version of Caroline, another version of Petra, another version of Vika, just in her own Spanish version. And I thought, you know, we're getting the two slams. I also reached number one, right? And so I felt like with the two slams, she edged out, you know, Caroline. At the same time, you can't dismiss the 71 weeks at number one.

but I was going off the championships a little bit more, so I had to give the nod to that one. And I could not though, I could not not include Caroline. So it was like, where do I put her? You know what I mean? Do I put her in that first tier? I'm like, ah, that's too low. Do I put her in the middle tier? Ah. But then, and then there's my, as you'll appreciate my rankings in our next episode, three, the three grand slams it up, it to me is another level of error and I couldn't put her that high and yet.

Alvin Owusu (22:13.864)
Right, yeah.

Torrey Hawkins (22:32.025)
It just felt like, and I'll hold on to my last pick.

Alvin Owusu (22:35.722)
So we felt the same way. Like I had her at 18, sorry, I had Garbina at 18 and I have Caroline at 16. And you've got Caroline at 18 and Garbena at 16. we're, independently we put together our list, but we ended up kind of in a similar place and having those kind of discussions with ourselves about like the consternations. like when you start to look at these players, when you start to just look at the list, you start to see like what it,

Torrey Hawkins (22:50.42)
Yep.

Torrey Hawkins (22:57.182)
Yeah, consternations, I thought.

Alvin Owusu (23:05.426)
actually takes to be great in the women's game. it's a lot of women who can pack a punch, like really pack a punch. So when you see someone like a Simone Halep and you see someone like a Caroline Wozniacki who did not have the biggest strokes, I find myself to be even more amazed by the heights they were able to reach and how long they were able to stay there.

Torrey Hawkins (23:33.141)
Just to give you an example, Alvin, the last three of my picks and technically four of my last six were all ranked number one in the world. And you just can't dismiss that as a stat. know, when a lady who was my 18th pick was 71 weeks at number one. Think about that. Right? That's lot of weeks.

Alvin Owusu (23:57.011)
A year. A whole year.

Torrey Hawkins (24:03.358)
You know what mean? And so, you know, you're gone a year and a half, right? So I say it to say, over the course of, right, 10 years, right? And you start looking at that to say, that means she wasn't, she was probably at number two, another, number two or three, another 150 weeks or maybe 200, whatever the case may be. So I say it to say, you know, with full respect for my number, you know, for my number 20 and others.

Alvin Owusu (24:22.687)
Right.

Torrey Hawkins (24:31.468)
This is rare air, man. This is a very, that's why I said this whole exercise was difficult because you're really putting some things into perspective here. And one person's peak of 18 months, another person's peak of three years, another person's longevity of nine. And then they were here, there, and then dropped down. Then they came back up. Vika had a child and still relevant after a little one. It's phenomenal when you look at it. And so,

You know, again, I humbly submit this list in all of its, you know, whatever scrutiny that it deserves, because there was clearly some things that I missed, but I feel like the error I made, if any, is not in making some of these higher, which only speaks to who I have higher, you know what I mean? So that's where I'm at.

Alvin Owusu (25:20.65)
Right, Okay, all right. And in that vein, like I mentioned, I've got Caroline at number 16. I think we've waxed quite poetic about her. Who do you have at 16? Ooh, ooh. I was just in my head, in my head, when you were just talking, I was like, you could make an argument for Coco being right here in that same space with Margarita and Wozniacki, and then there you go, and then there you go.

Torrey Hawkins (25:33.396)
CocoaGolf.

Torrey Hawkins (25:46.109)
Right. She's got two and I put her on top the two has not been number one, which was hard for me because I'm like, she hasn't been number one yet. You know what I mean? And the rest of these girls have. But I said to myself, she's going to get everything sorted. She's going to be back. She's already won two. She's barely 22. Is he 22 yet? She's years old. You know, she's going to have a bright career. This is a placeholder. so I gave her.

As you talked in the previous episode about having her there, if she retired today, you're right. But I'm looking at this young woman's got a bright, bright future. just, I could see her winning five or six with everything going the way that it's going. And I am, and so, but at this point in time, I'm giving her number 16.

Alvin Owusu (26:34.794)
Okay, that's fair, that's fair. So I'm looking at the, she's 21 years old by the way, she'll be 22 next year in March. It's so young.

Torrey Hawkins (26:41.618)
21.

Got this show. My youngest is 22, Alvin. mean, and you know, I'm looking at this like, wow, know, she's graduated college, you know what I mean? And started grad school. I'm like, really? And this young woman's already won two slams and is, you know, and has, you know, 37 million in endorsements. mean, that's a, forget the money part. She's that much of a household name and conducting herself on the world stage at 21 years of age.

That in itself is a herculean feat, And I just, and we have to appreciate that, you know? honestly, even with, despite her sort of troubles and other things, still plays a pretty good tennis and she's handling it like a professional, learning every day as she goes through. I mean, I can't say enough good about the young lady. I'm just impressed with Corey senior and obviously Candy, and they've just done a phenomenal job of keeping this young lady grounded and keeping her hungry and humble and.

and approachable and just normal. You know what I mean? So I look forward to her to the next several years of her career and her maturation through the process.

Alvin Owusu (27:51.624)
And just to foreshadow a little bit, probably weeks from now when we actually get to the men, Carlos Acauraz is only 22 years old.

Torrey Hawkins (28:01.136)
Which is sick when you think that. That's just stupid. I mean, it's beyond impressive, almost hard to fathom for Coco. And then tab one six. What? What?

Alvin Owusu (28:01.769)
That's a joke. That's a joke.

Alvin Owusu (28:10.131)
Right.

I was like, wait, what, six? Just went two. Just went two. I feel really good about as we look into the coming weeks and we move into the last few, these aren't quartiles, these are quintiles, these are quintiles, or they're fives. We got three more quintiles left and we don't have many crossovers.

Torrey Hawkins (28:42.448)
Right.

Alvin Owusu (28:42.737)
going in, so that's exciting. It's gonna get really real. And no teasers, I got no teasers. No teasers for the people. We'll just make this a quick one. So again, just kind of to recap here, we'll go with TH's list first, 25, Mary Pierce, 24, Svetlana Kuznetseva, number 23, Amelie Merezmo, number 22, Li Na, number 21, Simona Halep, number 20, Petra Kavitova, number 19, Victoria Azarenka.

Torrey Hawkins (28:50.447)
Right? Yep.

Alvin Owusu (29:12.583)
Number 18, Caroline Wozniacki. Number 17, Garbina Muguruta. And number 16, Coco Golf. And I, Alvin, have Danira Safina at 25, Anna Ivanovich at 24, Petr Kvitova at 23, Coco Golf at 22, Lina at 21, Svetlana Kuznetsova at 20. At number 19, I've got Barbara Krchikova. 18, Garbina Muguruta.

Number 17, Amelie Moresmo and number 16, Caroline Wozniacki. So our blocks are looking, besides the, yeah, yeah. Besides the nearest Safina Ivanovich, Mary Pierce of things, we're about, we're dealing with the same chunk of players here in about the same space. We were just a little different on the Cocoa Golf of things. Just how, and that's more of a, it's not a Cocoa thing, it's an interpretation of the assignment. Yeah, yeah, yeah.

Torrey Hawkins (29:47.887)
Yeah, a lot of crosswalks.

Torrey Hawkins (30:06.287)
Interpretation. Sure, I agree. I'm looking ahead. You cut it off as this. Sure. Yeah.

Alvin Owusu (30:10.441)
Okay, let's, I cut it off. I cut it off. There's no more tennis, no more tennis. I'm cutting it off. Much like I'm off this podcast. I'm Alvin, that's Tory. It's a quick one today. We'll put a pin in it. Best of three. We will catch you next time. Peace.

Torrey Hawkins (30:24.945)
Peace.
